Art Exhibition and Portrait

I recently participated in an art exhibition and demonstration at Patchings Art Centre.



I was also commissioned to paint a portrait for a late local councillor who did a lot for our local community. It is now hanging in a local village hall for the public to view and remember her.

Portrait Painting Demonstration - 9th June 2016

On Thursday 9th June 2016 Gordon will be painting a portrait demonstrating his technique at 12.45 pm in the Marquee at the Patchings Festival in Calverton, Nottinghamshire

Something Special

Gordon will be attending the ‘SOMETHING SPECIAL’ Art Event at Blackall Studios on 14th March 2013 6.30pm. In addition to Gordon, over 100 artists including 12 from The Royal Academy have donated paintings and sculptures to raise funds for Joss Searchlight Children’s Cancer Charity Click for more information.

Status Quo / Princes Trust

Gordon King has contributed an artwork to Status Quo's 'Pictures' Auction, which is taking place on November 5th at Bonhams in London.

Proceeds of the sale will go to The Prince's Trust. A press release about the auction can be read here.
